DENVER AREA PHOTO LOCATIONS
North Denver - Central Park Area
BLUFF LAKE
Situated on the edge of Central Park and Aurora, this beautiful nature center provides a great location for beautiful trees, fence lined path, boulder and cut wood formations as well as a creek. (Creek photos are dependent on time of day)
ROCKY MOUTAIN ARSENAL AND WILDLIFE REFUGE
Right in the north end of Denver! Practically in my backyard, this is a wonderful place with lots of nature and open space.
CENTRAL PARK
In the heart of Central Park with a view of the distant mountains and infamous airport tower, Central Park is a open and spacious spot.
WESTERLY CREEK
The lovely park in Westerly Creek is mostly open with a picturesque bridge and a creek running through it.
BEELER PARK-NORTH END
No need to go far from home with parks and cultures right in the neighborhood! And a distant view of the mountains at sunset.
CHEESMAN PARK OR CITY PARK
Close to downtown Denver, Cheesman is a beautiful park has the shaded paths of pines and trees and the grander of the dramatic neoclassical pavilion. Summer there are beautiful flowers.
City Park has a variety of location whether it's the beautiful trees and grass or the lake and pavilion. If you get the right time of day you can capture the mountains as well!
JAMES A. BIBLE PARK
This park is a favorite of mine that I often walked while my daughter had dance class. Lush fields, beautiful tall trees, rustic paths that lead to a creek with giant boulders and sculptured logs and not crowded! About 15-20 minutes south of Central Park.
DOWNTOWN DENVER
When you want something a little more urban and when the trees are bare, the city is a great place to capture photos. The colorful graffiti and buildings make for a great backdrop.
THE FOOTHILLS
GOLDEN HISTORIC PARK
One of my favorite places, the historic park in Golden has practically everything! The tree and fenced line path, historic buildings, a river and the mountains! The problem is that it's popular during the holidays and weekends. Such a variety of photos at this location. Then you can walk to a restaurant or ice cream shop after the session to indulge yourselves for a job well done!
BOULDER
This is a fabulous area that is not too crowded but has pine trees to give the green look all year long. Beautiful mountains close in the background.
MATTHEWS/WINTERS RED ROCKS LOOP
North of Red Rocks just off i70, a great spot with a creak, beautiful trees and the mountains.
RED ROCKS - MT FALCON PARK
Close to Red Rocks but far enough where there isn't a large crowd of people. A little pond to add to the scenery.
